This snake with legs turned out to be a baby snake! Instead of contacting the zoological department and handing this small, feeble creature to the experts, the discoverer resorted to "self-defence" and said this...
"The snake crept up to me and I hit it until it died because I was afraid it could be poisonous."
Sisuahlai's message to this fellow... be very afraid now:
If the standard Malaysian response to weird and wonderful creatures is to smash them to smithereens, I would be VERY, VERY SCARED if I was BIGFOOT.
Sisuahlai.
If you want help for chuar-phobia. Aim your mouse here. (ya ya ya, very funny, chuar likes mouse)

"Lau chua" means snake...and it also means that u idle around doing nothing (or blogging - like some people u know, or go on extended tea-breaks or imaginary sick leave), in which case it's not a phobia but a syndrome...esp among Malaysians?
poor snake...that person who killed it must've been a retard...
wondering if mr sisuahlai got liak cuar o not when writing this cuar entry
As sisuahlai said, very normal m'sia behaviour to kill any thing that crawls around your house vincinity....hahahahaha
JC...better watch out when u visit people...hahahahaha and r u sure u really symphatise for the snake...........why do I have a strong suspicion u would actually be the first to beat any animals senseless if it comes anywhere near u..or for that matter..chau boh lo....
snakes with legs r very common, they're called lizards.
malaysia always come up with weird things. i don't know whether the snake with legs actually existed since i've never seen the picture yet.
by the way, chi-chak in hokkien is chi-leng lah! Sisuahlai, can i be ur editor? hehe....
Chi-leng is Hokkien for "house lizard". The intended name for the chi-leng was chi-cak (malay for lizard). But thanks for highlighting anyway.
