Malaysia Command Centre, Putra Jaya, issued this statement: Get rid of red tape.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who recently praised one Sarawakian contractor for a job well done, said that any bureaucratic procedure or regulation that gives rise to obstacles and delaying the implementation of projects under the Ninth Malaysia Plan must be done away with. Yup, you heard it, GET RID OF RED TAPE.

It slows people down. We want to get straight to the point. Straight to the money shot. Now, civil servants, can you please simplify things and get rid of red tape... as much as possible.
